months ago, i commented on another thread about a strategy i was using to introduce my wife to the way cults work--without using the word "cult" and scaring her away.

yesterday, i got our credit card statement, and looked at the charges.

over $500 to itunes.

questioned everyone, and it's for "jewels" for a kim kardashian game my 13 year old charged.

My 5 year old did the same thing on an old apple device we didn’t use anymore. I didn’t know the cc info was on the device. It was charged only around $40.00. We contacted iTunes and told them our 5 year old didn’t have permission to make charges. They refunded us the money. We changed all of our device’s settings since then.

after doing a simple google search under "jehovah'switnesses" over a year ago, i found ttat.

i was deeply unhappy with the congregation and decided to educate myself, and boy what an education i have gotten so far.

Olympia WA Lacey Cong 2003-2004 I don’t remember the name of the Cong in Lacey/ Olympia.

Mountain View Cong in Longmont CO 2004-2011ish

Just Curious About Something

sorry,couldn't think of a better title for this post,without it being long.. i was thinking this morning,if ex-jws, who were born into the group less likely to join another religion after leaving.

vs. the witnesses who belonged to a church before joining the religion.. from my own prespective,being raised a witness,i have no intention of joining any religion.

and it seems that born-ins are less likely to join a religion after leaving the cult.. in my own experience,i think it's religious burn-out to tell the truth.

Wife and I were born in. She believes in a god / creator of some type. I do not. I doubt she will ever go to another church service. I have no need or desire to attend one.
